Freshly brewed single-origin Kenyan coffee

From cherry to cup.

We oversee the full chain, wet mill to dry mill to packaging, using the washed process Kenya is celebrated for.

Cherry harvest

Ripe red cherries are hand-picked by co-op member farmers during the main crop (October to December) and fly crop (April to June), at 1,400 to 2,000m.

Wet milling

Cherries are pulped at the washing station within hours of picking. The mucilage is fermented off and washed away with clean water, preserving the beans' clarity.

Drying

Parchment coffee dries on raised beds over two to three weeks, turned regularly for even moisture reduction to 11 or 12 percent.

Dry milling and grading

Hulling, grading by screen size, density sorting and colour sorting produce clean, export-standard green beans.

Roasting and packaging

We roast to profile and pack in valve-sealed bags with full traceability: farm, co-op, region, grade and roast date.

PB Peaberry

A single round bean per cherry, prized for concentrated sweetness and a bright, lively cup.

Operational, not theoretical

Our team runs active operations. We give you advice we have tested ourselves, not frameworks borrowed from elsewhere.

Long-term partnerships

We are not one-session consultants. We walk with clients over time as the business grows and the challenges change.

Cross-discipline thinking

With agriculture, tech and finance under one roof, we see how each affects the others and give you the complete picture.

What we stand for.

To connect Kenyan farms with markets: fairly, transparently, and with an uncompromising standard of quality.
Farm-first sourcing

Every product comes directly from farms and cooperatives. We cut out unnecessary layers and keep the grower at the centre.

Uncompromising quality

Every batch is inspected before it moves. One strict standard across all products, with no exceptions for any client or order size.

Fair to farmers

We pay fair prices and build long-term partnerships. Sustainable agriculture begins with sustainable farmer livelihoods.

Technology-backed operations

We apply digital systems to our own business and help clients do the same, making agriculture more efficient and data-informed.

Where we come from.

Zinari Ventures was born from a simple observation: Kenya grows some of the finest produce and coffee in the world, yet growers often receive too little of its value. Supply chains are long, middlemen are many, and the farmer at the end of the chain is often the last to benefit.

We built Zinari to change that model. We entered commercial agreements with cooperatives like the Wachukuzi Planters Union to process, package and sell their coffee directly, and built direct relationships with farms across Kenya, from Meru to Naivasha, from Thika to Western Kenya.

We also run our own farm and poultry unit. This is not theory for us; we are farmers too. We understand the inputs, the cycles, the risks and the rewards, and that is what makes our consulting different. Today Zinari Ventures is a proud subsidiary of Robin Investments Group Inc.
